Each day, you’ll receive an email that includes a 10-20 minute video discussing the lesson of the day, the previous day’s video(s), and actions steps to implement for that day’s lesson.

The first day is for figuring out your foundation: who is your brand for? What do you do as a business? Why do you do what you do?

The second day is about finding your signature style. You’ll do so by using Pinterest to pin your inspiration and Canva to create your final mood board.
By the end of Day 2, you’ll know the creative direction you want to go in.

Following the work you did the day before, you’ll decide on your color palette, font style, and brand elements like textures, artwork, and illustrations.
You’ll end Day 3 with a clear idea of the different elements that make up your brand vibe.

Now that you’ve done the foundational work, you’ll create your logo. Your video will walk you through the step-by-step process of designing in Canva or Illustrator using the same techniques I rely on for my clients.
Once you’re finished, you’ll have a beautifully designed and custom logo to represent your business.

On the last day, you’ll put together everything you have designed and selected in a Brand Guidelines document. This includes your fonts, color palette, color codes, logo, logo variations, elements that you’ve approved for use, photography style, and mood board.

How much time do I need to invest each day?
The video lessons are 10-20 minutes and as long as you follow the daily prompts you shouldn’t need longer than one hour a day to implement!
Is it better to hire a designer instead of DIY my branding?
It depends on what stage you’re in! Over the years, your business will change a lot which is why in the beginning stages, it doesn’t make sense to spend thousands of dollars on custom branding and design. However, you still need a strategic and polished visual presence that represents the professional you are. This course helps you get your brand up and running in a short amount of time without having to spend a lot of money.
Will this help me create graphics for my business?
Yes! The brand guidelines you’ll put together on Day 5 will help you when it comes to creating graphics because you’ll know what styles, colors, and fonts to use, helping you stay on brand and save time.
What if I already have a logo?
That’s totally fine! The logo day of this course (Day 4) is a great way to figure out if you need to polish your logo or create more variations. (You can use logo variations on marketing materials that require a different orientation of the logo or a different color for a contrasting background).
Is this course worth it or can I just do it myself?
This course was created to guide you down the right path and based on the same process I use for my branding clients so you’ll be able to design a brand that you love. You won’t have to spend any time wondering if you’re making the right choice or trying to figure out everything on your own.
