How Pinterest Changed My Business

Secret time! 🙊Pinterest. Its been a GAME CHANGER 💪🏼for me! I never knew a simple app could have so much impact on my business. I know you're reading this right now and thinking...but...its Pinterest...how can it help my business? And I thought the same thing until I heard the words "Pinterest is a search engine" 🤔🙀then it was crystal clear, the more exposure, the more chance of sales. ⁠ ⁠

After my normal routine of learning from podcasts and YouTube videos I tried it out for myself and WOW 🔥for the month of May I have 34.9k monthly viewers, 73 saves and 104 link clicks. 🤯and this month alone as of right now I had 73 Etsy orders 🙀, normally I would get 3 orders a month if I was lucky. Coincidence? I think not! ⁠ ⁠ If you're interested in marketing with Pinterest here is the bare minimum of what I did.⁠ ⁠

⭐1. When filling out your account fill out everything, make sure you have a profile photo, bio, cover photos, etc. I also used a business account so I can see the analytics. ⁠

⭐2. Make sure you have good long descriptions for your Pins, this is how people are going to find you. ⁠ If you just put "Change the Date Invitation Template" you won't get as many hits as "Love is Patient Change the Date Photo Template for DIY Brides, Change the Date Template, Postponed Wedding Announcement Template, Love is Patient Change the Date, change of plans card" 👈🏼 is an actual pin description I use⁠ ⁠

⭐3. Follow people who follow boards similar to yours. What I did was I would find other wedding invitation-related boards and followed everyone who had a profile photo. The idea is that the people who have profile photos are more likely to use the app. I followed about...40 people every day for the first 2 weeks. ⁠ ⁠

and that's it! 🎉Everything was exponential from there. And if I did not have enough pins to fill up a board, no problem, I just re-pinned other people's pins! It's a win-win for everyone! ⁠ ⁠ ⁠
